Started a Fall quilt on Monday. Not sure if I really like it.
I had picked up a jelly roll of fall-colored solids at Quilt Trends (Columbus, Ohio) when we went down to pick up my HQ-16 from her “spa treatment”. I had the jelly roll for a few weeks – trying to decide exactly what I wanted to do with it. Came up with this little pattern while watching some of the Missouri Star Quilt Co. YouTube videos. BTW, If you are stuck for an idea – and have some jelly rolls, layer cakes or charm packs in your quilt room just waiting to be turned into something fabulous – then watch some of the videos and you’ll come away inspired to start SOMETHING!
Not sure whether to keep working on this one or not.
Thanks for the tip about the videos at Missouri Star Quilt Co. I like the colors in your fall jelly roll solids... the first thing I thought of when I saw your project was candy corn, with a modern touch. I kind of like it!
