Got the 7th. star made today (since I was a week behind), and put them all together and added the borders. I was hoping to get it layered and quilted tonight – but that just didn’t happen. This is the block-of-the-week that I’ve been doing from the Temecula Quilt Co. It’s kind of an interesting layout … I’ve never done a quilt that was arranged this way. When they first posted the layout at their blog, I wasn’t sure that I liked it – but it has really grown on me.
I admit the layout is original but I like it. Very effective, the darker background help to set it off nicely.
ReplyDeleteThat's how I felt Betty Lou ... Like I said in my post, I wasn't sure if I liked it when they first posted the layout. I was kind of disappointed in a way. But I figured that I had spent the money on the fabric, and I had done the blocks -- so I better go ahead and finish it the way it was intended to be finished. After it all went together, and I was looking at the picture that I had taken on my iPad -- I started to change my mind.
