We were all over today … and I’m exhausted! We started out the morning watching the morning coverage of the Tour de France (love, love), and hubby started calling around to see who could do the alignment on my car for the best price. When we found someone, we got ready and headed up there. We dropped my car off, jumped into his car and by this time it was past lunch time. We stopped at Wendy’s for a quick bite, and then it was on to CVS for pop (soda for people in other parts of the country). The 12-packs were on sale 3 for $11, and I had $5 in ECB’s, so it only cost $6 for three 12-packs of Coke and Diet Coke. Woo Hoo!! Then it was on to Walmart to get a prepaid cell phone for hubby. His current contract is expired, and I’m sick of paying $51.00/month for a phone that he uses approx. 2 minutes a day. (We’re not really cell phone people) Then it was up to Shelby to get new blades for the lawnmower at the surplus store. (I’d never been there so that was an adventure) A quick stop at McDonald’s on the way back to Mansfield to get something cold to drink was the next order of business, since we were out running around on one of the hottest days of the year for crying out loud! By this time it was time to go pick up my car at the shop and drop off hubby’s car to have a new front tire put on to replace the one that went flat a few days ago. Oh but no … we couldn’t head home just yet … we still had to stop at the bank to get a couple of money orders because I forgot to order more checks for the checking account. And then we treated ourselves to some ice cream cups from Coldstone because we had one more coupon left! And then on the way home we stopped at the farmer’s market to get some sweet corn to go with our steaks for dinner! Can I rest yet?????
