A little anniversary shopping …

Yesterday was our 19th. wedding anniversary.  We drove to Mt. Vernon, Ohio to visit a quilt shop that will be closing its’ doors this coming Friday.  I was able to add to my Civil War repro stash … (some of these came from the other shop in Mt. Vernon too)

When I got home, my monthly Civil War fat quarter packet from Keepsake Quilting was waiting in the mailbox …

So lots of new Civil War fabrics got added to the stash!!!!!

Oh, and I had to pick up just a little addition for my black & white collection …

From Mt. Vernon we headed down to Columbus and I got a new outfit for one of my upcoming speeches.  Then we hopped over to Bed, Bath & Beyond to get popover pans (and about a gazillion other kitchen things).  Then it was on to Polaris to hit Accent On Image where hubby bought me two new beads and one new spacer (Pandora of course) to fill up my other bracelet.  And you know we just HAD to walk down to Williams-Sonoma where we managed to find a few things that we just HAD TO HAVE!  Thankfully for our checkbook, by this point it was time to head over to Carrabba’s to meet Mom and Dad for dinner.  (It was her 63rd. birthday)  We had a nice time!
