Civil War BOW – Fort Sumter (15)

I decided to do a little fussy cutting on this week’s block.  I like the way it turned out!  The colors that I selected are a little strange – but are growing on me.

    Love that orange fabric! I actually inherited some antique blocks from my grandmother. I'm not sure what year she pieced them, but she used similar orange fabric. I've had the blocks for almost 30 years...so I guess I should get serious about using them in a project! lol
