March 7-12, 2016

I felt like I got quite a bit done this week.  On Monday I sent out The Pastfinder, the newsletter for the Richland County (Ohio) Genealogical Society.  I am the editor.

I also mailed out two customer quilts that day ... I had two quilts ready to return to a client in Arkansas.  I loved both of the quilts -- they were bright, cheery and fun.  She really liked the way they turned out!  #AALQS

I think her choice of the black & white check for the binding was a super fun and unexpected choice!

My order from Superior Threads arrived on Monday ... four more cones of Fantastico to add to my collection!  Woo Hoo!  #SuperiorThread

We had to take our Kia Soul in for its first oil change on Tuesday morning, and then it was off to Medina to babysit for my nephews for the day.  When the oldest got off of the bus, we headed for a really great park up in the Medina area, Mugrage Park, off of State Route 18 on Windfall Road.  It had some really cool stuff to play on.  The weather was beautiful and so unexpected for a day in March ... it was in the 70's!  So the park was packed!

After the customer quilts were off of the frame, it was time to load a Minion quilt for my nephew's birthday.  I chose to do a basic meandering stipple in a soft yellow thread.

I did two blocks for the Temecula Quilt Co. BOW called Circa 2016.

I've also been working on a quilt called Sugar Shack.  I finally reached the point where I could start assembling the rows.  So far ... 5 rows done!  #sugarshack
