Made some savory tomato buns this afternoon. Instead of making it as a loaf of bread, I pulled out the hamburger bun pans (from the
King Arthur Flour catalog) and made them in the form of buns. I'm anxious to try them out tomorrow at lunch time. I bought some thinly sliced roast beef from the deli on Tuesday and wanted something more substantial for a sandwich - since white bread tends to be soft and squishy (which is great for PB&J) but not for other things. I'll have to take some pictures of them, although they didn't turn out very photogenic. :)
