Baby Bernina to the rescue …
Well, she’s not Aurora – but my little Bernina 230PE will have to fill in for her big sister for the next few days. I know it’s unfair to call her “Baby Bernina” but I called her that once and the name has kind of stuck. She’s a bit smaller than my Aurora – so I think that’s why I call her “Baby”. And she doesn’t have all of the bells and whistles that Aurora has. But she’s a nice machine for classes or other occasions when travel is required. So she’ll set in Aurora’s place and it will feel like I’m doing my patchwork up in the air.
Aurora Withdrawal …
It’s been less than 24 hours since my (Bernina) Aurora went in for her annual cleaning – and already I’m feeling her absence. What a sad sight to see an empty shelf where she is normally perched – waiting to sew her perfect stitches.
